WSAA Brands New Breast Cancer Initiative
When a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, she needs more than medical help. She needs rides to treatments, babysitting, grocery delivery, wigs and much more. Many women rely on free mammograms as well. While there are local organizations that help provide these services to uninsured and under-insured women, of course, they’re in great need of funding. This need led to the formation of Pink Aid, a new grant-based organization created to help finance these services. WSAA has worked with Andrew Mitchell-Namdar of Mitchells Family of Stores from the start to see this vision come to life. Starting with just a concept, WSAA named the organization, created the logo, website and invitations and collateral for the inaugural Pink Aid Event.
“The Pink Chair Fashion Show & Luncheon” will be on October 6, 2011 at Mitchells of Westport. We are so happy to be welcoming Robin Roberts, co-anchor of “Good Morning America” as our keynote speaker. The event will feature pink chairs designed by interior designers for auction. Amy Gross and Renée Mandis, co-owners of wsaa, inc. are thrilled to be co-chairs of this event!

Pink Aid Website
Project: Branding, Website
Client: Pink Aid
WSAA client and friend, Andrew Mitchell-Namdar, Marketing VP at Mitchell Family of Stores, came to wsaa with an idea to start a new charitable organization. The concept was to help fund “compassionate services,” such as free mammograms, babysitting, food delivery, wigs, etc. to uninsured and under-insured women with breast cancer. It has been a great joy to be involved from the start. WSAA named the organization “Pink Aid” and has created the logo, the website, ads, event invitations and more. We are thrilled to part of Pink Aid from the start!

Mitchells Image Book Fall 2011
Project: Fall 2011 Image Book — Stories: Faraway / Close to Home
Client: Mitchells/Richards/Marshs
Upon their 50th anniversary in 2008, one of the nation’s top retailers approached us to take their branding to a new level. Building on the concept of CEO Jack Mitchell’s bestseller “Hug Your Customer,” we turned “the hug” into something signature and surprisingly hip! Ever since, we have been “Agency of Record” for all the stores in what we have branded as “The Mitchell Family of Stores.”

MR Advertorial 2
Project: Men’s Retail Advertorial, Fall 2011
Client: Samuelsohn
When a Toronto firm acquired Samuelsohn in 2010, they engaged us to revamp and reposition the Montreal-based brand, established in 1923. Working closely with new lead designer Arnold Brandt-Silverstone, we created logo, branding and an ad campaign to express his vision for this handtailored and sophisticated, yet well-priced brand. The brand is being very well-received, so look out an exciting new retail presence in in 2011!
