WSAA Takes Home Three Ad Club of Connecticut Awards

On May 21, 2014, the Advertising Club of Connecticut held its 60th Annual Awards Show honoring the best and the brightest in Connecticut. WSAA took home three awards, for clients Mitchells Family of Stores and Robert Graham.

The Mitchells Family of Stores books “Talk of the Town (House)” and “Spring Magic” both won Gold in the “Consumer Catalog (Product or Service)” category. “Talk of the Town (House)” was designed to create excitement about the Grand (Re)Openings of Wilkes Bashford’s legendary San Francisco townhouse and Palo Alto stores after landmark renovations and changes. The book features world famous designers and customers “talking” about what the iconic retail institution means to the Bay Area. The book also features fashion photographed in a New York townhouse, to pay homage to the Townhouse. “Spring Magic” presents a stunning mediation on the rebirth of life, opportunity (and fashion) that comes about in Spring. In a world that has been so tumultuous of late, it was conceived to celebrate the beauty and hope of fresh beginnings. It was photographed on location in St. Barths.

Both books were designed and written by wsaa, inc. of Westport, CT and feature fashion photography by Sergio Kurhajec. The Advertising Club of Connecticut is the largest professional marketing and advertising association in the state. Its mission is to promote the highest standards of excellence throughout Connecticut.
